Walking Down the Streets of Bucharest

Going form Piata Romana to Piata Vitorie, I photographed some buildings that happened to catch my eye.
Old vs New. So close, so different
I have a thing for round rooms. I always wanted one.
"Admiral Vasile Urseanu" Astronomical Observatory. Visit it!

Red, my favorite, in all shades :P

Piata Victoriei. Concrete and glass. And lots of cars of course.

Grigore Antipa Natural History Museum. Also in Romanian only.
Passing by the Romanian Athenaeum.

This old building will surely fall at the next significant earthquake. It has no windows left. Still, I think it should be somehow preserved.
Yup, hotels interest me. Union above and Novotel below.

Piata Unirii by night. And a very nice restaurant you can find there.

Back on the road

Back on the highway, from Istanbul till the border with Bulgaria.

The mosque at the border. The last one we saw for a long time.
Bulgaria again.

There are no lights in their tunnels???
